Sunday lunch with family

We were invited to lunch at Mr PHL’s brother’s house in Paisley so it was an early start to be organised to get there for 1pm. I had been requested to make the Yorkshire puddings to accompany the roast beef so I made the batter before we left.

It was a lovely sunny day so I took the chance to wear a lovely summer dress. It felt good.

Lunch was fabulous. Roast beef with roast potatoes, carrots, peas and cauliflower cheese with the Yorkshire puddings and lashings of gravy. Pudding was a little delayed as we were all stuffed but we eventually enjoyed meringues, ice cream, strawberry’s and a rather tasty coulis.

We finally got home just before 10. A lovely way to spend Easter Sunday.
