Surprised…

to discover one of the Ospreys back some six days early and with lunch already caught and half eaten!  Great to see!
There was another hard overnight frost and then a calm cool day. Thrushes and Blackbirds are nesting in the garden and Greenfinches singing all the time. Woodpeckers and Siskins are here too, and there was.a Treecreeper in the Birches, always a sign of Spring.
