Here is South Rising!

Part of the Eden Benchmarks sculpture trail, this is South Rising.  We nearly didn't go out today as it was rainy and Ben was quite angry but we thought this walk near Langwathby looked quite straightforward and afterwards, we were so glad we had gone out.  The rain even held off for the majority of the walk and we pottered along the river and then over some fields and through a village.  We enjoyed the hidden sculpture along the way and there was a striking tree and a lovely church.  Definitely blew away some cobwebs although I was tired afterwards.  
Home tomorrow, so that's always a bit of a downer.  It's been a lovely Easter weekend up here though :-)
