As we walked out one mid spring morning…

Zoe found a piece on the Laurie Lee Trail in the Guardian the other day so we thought we would check it out today.

I was keen to do it as his book “As I walked out one midsummer morning” is an absolute favourite and is partly responsible without doubt for my wanderlust.

It was a really nice walk.. despite the mud (probably better in the midsummer). We finished it off with a beer in his local ,The Woolpack.
