After a bit of a lie in , we made it out to WWT Caerlaverock on the Solway. The whooper swans were gone, probably making their way back to their breeding grounds in the North. It was a pretty dull and damp day . We saw some Shoveler and Teal ducks. Very beautiful .
In the evening we experienced an electrical problem, maybe something fused ? It meant our Gad boiler , electric cooker have stopped working. Thankfully we have lights and a gas hob , kettle and microwave oven and an electric shower upstairs. So tomorrow I will start the day sorting out an electrician. Wish me luck
