My topsy-turvy life

We had a bit of a meltdown this morning and a subsequent day with no TV. Louisa is still feeling rough and spent most of the day in bed so, all in all, not the best bank holiday.

We did get out later on, on good behaviour, and thought we'd make the most of the last week or so of our Ironbridge pass by going to Blists Hill for the last hour before they closed. We were offered the Easter Egg trail because it was shorter, and Owen flew around the town finding all of them in about 20minutes them claiming his prize from the Grocer's. He had to find wooden eggs dotted around the various workshops, including the carpenter where he was intrigued at what was on offer*.
Once he'd claimed his prize it was -unsurprisingly- off to the outdoor play for the last half an hour.
A homeward bound trip to McDonald's for everyone meant the day ended better than it began.
