Cnwclas

A bright sunny morning followed by a wet afternoon. Fortunately I'd decided to have my longer walk (six miles) in the morning. This took me from Tref-y-Clawdd/Knighton up onto Panpunton Hill and along to Cwm-sanaham returning via another spectacular section of the Offa's Dyke Path to Kinsley Wood. My blip shows the river Teme which forms the England/Wales border and beyond it the spectacular 19th century Knucklas/Cnwclas railway viaduct. On the hill to the right of the viaduct are the remains of Cnwclas castle which, according to legend, is where Lady Guinevere and King Arthur were married.
