Great Crested Grebe

These two have just arrived back for nesting. They were calling to each other. Then they did the classic dance diving down to collect weed and waving it in each others faces. I’ve never seen it before. Took W to Preston Station for 745. He has cycled 101 miles and climbed 2200ft around the Lake District. I’m just pleased he’s home in one piece. Back to work today. Very busy with tree work applications but managed to get quite a bit done. Blip was after work walk.
