Gold miners

Today's motorcycle ride was to Pelorus Hotel Canvastown who in 1964 celebrated its centenary for gold mining. It all started in 1864 when washing that had been done in the Wakamarina River had gold flecks in it and the gold miners arrived.
The top Blip is the monument to the gold miners along with some of their equipment and the bottom Blip is the Pelorus Hotel, formerly the Trout Hotel, and the riders machines.

B is still suffering from the tooth removal which is no surprise and it was only removed due to an infection under it, it seems gin nor wine is the answer?

An overcast sort of day with some precipitation whilst going over the hill but it cleared and pleasant with splashes of blue on the return.
