Loose Reflections

Today's image was taken on a minor detour on the way home from our usual Sunday food shop and customary pint at The Horseshoes.
The village of Loose has been a source of previous blips but I never tire of this almost picture postcard village which sits in a steep sided valley just a couple of miles outside Maidstone.
The village's name is believed to be taken from the Loose stream, which 'loses' itself for several miles underground from the point where it rises a few miles away in Langley. The stream is part of a fast flowing river that runs through the centre of the village and once supported a paper-making industry.
My shot was taken from the Brooks path, a causeway alongside the stream, across to this wonderful 'half timbered' cottage on the opposite bank. I have captured it before in mono but with the sun out and the water being crystal clear enough to cast those fabulous reflections it had to be a colour image on this occasion.
