Rain stopped play (again)

It’s April and this was my first trip to the allotment of 2024. The main purpose was to drop lots of greenery in the compost bins. That was achieved and I managed to hoe a couple of beds while Mr EAnn spread compost and fertiliser on another and then it chucked it down. Plans to do a bit of planting have been abandoned for a better day.
The river is looking ominously high. This is the pear tree. It’s third year and the first one with a significant amount of blossom. :-)
