Cranhill Water Tower

The weather is miserable so we had a look at our Atlas Obscura app and found a random thing to go and look at - the Cranhill Water tower in Glasgow. It is odd being square but it also has some water based sculptures by Andy Scott around the base. They were a bit difficult to photograph because of the fence but there are three sirens, Poseidon and a mermaid. We also found a little park next to the water tower with a map of the UK showing lighthouses. Lots of streets in Cranhill are named after lighthouses but we are not sure why.
