River of Flowers

Wednesday: Primroses

We had rain onto each the 4 sides of our house - there must have been lots of heavy rain overnight too, the paths have lots of large puddles on them.

I can see this part of the garden from my window - all sorts of birds are nesting in the privet/box hedge, many hide in the hedge from predators and when there are berries the hedge provides food too. There will be trees flowering in a few weeks time, these will provide nectar and pollen for the insects and later there will be berries and fruit :-)

There were a couple of bees in the primroses this morning, but the rain put an end to their foraging :-((

Between showers, I went to the greenhouse and potted on Zucchini “Striato d’Italia” - 5 good plants! Tomatoes are next on the list but the weather will have to warm up a bit, much too cold outside for me today.

An afternoon of reading. MrD on deliveries but finished around 3pm. We both seem to have an upset stomach, something going around maybe or just the changeable weather?

Love and hugs to all my family XXXX XXX XX

Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
