Chamois

One of a herd of chamois that we saw above Frience today. The herd were quite skittish and so we watched from a distance. You don’t normally see this particular herd as low down the mountain as this but there were lots of fresh green shoots around so that is probably why. See extra for a shot of the herd.
We also spent time watching a buzzard being mobbed by two crows; they were relentless in their attacks. Lots of birds singing today and a Blue Tit has started to nest in one of our boxes.
