Now and then..

As promised some time ago, this is a "now and then" shot of Scourie. Our house is visible top left (to the left of the white cottage). The white cottage is now my shed, with lean to greenhouse, lean to shed, chimneys removed, and re-roofed. Our house now has dormer windows and porch. In today's pic, you can just see my poly-tunnel behind the white cottage.

The Village Hall, below and right of our house, now incorporates part of the old house. The road passed just in front of it, and has now been re-aligned bringing it further away from the house in today's pic. The fire station is new, the building to it's right with the white gable end is the church, that can be seen in the old picture.

The fences are in the same places, but today's pic has electric poles and street-lights visible.

A fascinating comparison..

Been threatening rain at times, but only had two good showers. Looking unsettled, I opted for pointing inside the shed, but maybe should have gone weeding.. Oh well..
