Now you see it

Now you don’t. Not only did Ailsa Craig come and go all day but so did the hills behind us, and when we were up the hills we couldn’t see anything.
Wind calmed during the night and we decided that we would put on waterproofs and head off up hill rather than along the coast path as planned. It rained and rained, until about half an hour before we got back so most of our stuff dried in the wind on the way down. The path was like a stream. But it was a lovely route, 10k up to the top of the hill and back. We sheltered under the trees for lunch.
Had a run along the beach with Hetty before cooking dinner, dry and windy, it was fun.
A few of the tents have gone, as have a couple of campers.
Tomorrow and Sunday are forecast to be the worst days and we are moving so hopefully the next site will be less exposed.
