Brave or Daft?

We took ourselves off to Fife for the first time this year on the chance that it seemed the driest day of the week where a walk between Elie and Pittenweem was deemed to be the order of the day.
The walk was probably the coldest we had walked since November last year as we were walking into an easterly of about 15-20 mph and given that the air temperature was about 6ºC the wind chill put the temperature at about 0ºC so the folk (we thought they were all female) in the sea pool were either very brave or doing it for a bet!
