Jasper the Velcro Dog

This is Jasper who according to the expert (LynnW) is a velcro dog.

He's a velcro dog because he likes to stick close to me.

After a few weeks of leaving him on his own with various distractions I came back tonight after 30 min run to find him barking in the kitchen.

This is the chew I left to distract him. He generally only decides to eat it when I am safely back.

Tomorrow night I am going to experiment with leaving him but at the same time setting my Iphone to record and to monitor his behaviour from outside the house.

I am hoping the barking only kicks in when he can hear me coming back through the gate.
