I just loved the tone, colour and mood of the shelf. Why not?

The rain event continued as predicted. The Warragamba Dam overflowed. The Nepean and Hawkesbury rivers are rising. Bridges are being submerged and people are evacuating. Roads and cars have been washed away. Landslides have occurred. Fortunately the rains themselves have stopped after 200mm or more in the mountains alone.

Let's hope that the wall of water clears into Broken Bay before too much more damage occurs.
