Our daughter flew in from Wellington for a weekend visit - very special and lovely to see her.

It is the first time she has been back to Christchurch since the earthquakes of 2010 & 2011. There have been so many changes, but also familiar places from her days of studying here for her first degree.

Today’s main photo is Cathedral Junction. The historic trams pass through here on a regular basis as they complete a loop of the city. Each night they also pass through here as they take the tracks to the right and head for the sheds and ‘bed’ for the night.

First extra is a selection of street art which adorns so many walls in the city.

The second extra shows redevelopment work is still very evident within the city centre. These photos were captured in the area near/around the Cathedral.
