Nature Diary..Happy Euonymus

These happy plants have survived everything the climate could throw at them for about 3 years without ever having been repotted.
That have developed from small plants sold in a local pet shop which the owners sometimes laid outside on tables a few plants grown by local people they had known and trusted.
Over the years I've not only bought some excellent plants from them I made firm friends with the owners who supplied us with pet food and wild bird food over many years.
Recently the lovely little shop changed hands and has lost its wonderful old fashioned ways and as a result has lost interest for me as the ambience it once had has gone, and has been replaced with over the top  commercialisation.
The saying "Money talks" now whispers in my ear "Walk on by" so my latest purchase of plants came from a local farm which has opened an inviting area of Spring bedding plants produced by local people. Hurray!!!
