Doing Well, infact almost there...

Today's walk was quite a long stretch from Linlithgow to Ratho. But is wasn't raining which really helped. It was very gusty at times through the afternoon.
We started with a quick trip to Linlithgow Loch where there was a lot of birds, see bottom of entry. There was a very long stretch of daffs as we excited Linlithgow.  The section by the shale bings was interesting and we stopped for a while to watch a kestrel hunting. A cup of tea at the climbing centre was good, and now we are in the Ratho Inn.
Swan total 10, nests 3
Swan total Linlithgow Loch over 30
Osprey at Linlithgow,  not seen by me but just seen by a birdwatcher I spoke to. Grebes also Linlithgow.
