Knitted Oz

A little road trip today. Took mum-in-law to the North York moors. Called in at Thirsk for morning tea and a look at the knitted decorations that grace the market square. This one is especially for our Australian viewers. Then on to Helmsley Walled Garden via Sutton bank. We stopped to have a look at the "view" but it was grey with low cloud and blowing a bit. Anyway the sun came out for our lunch at the Vine House Cafe and subsequent walk around the garden. Extras show a view of Helmsley Castle and a detail of 'Someone' - a sculpture by Bill Harling.
