Dr Who

Woke to a very much brighter morning and we decided to go for a drive out to Whitmuir Farm where there was a makers' market on. Lovely driving through the rolling hills in sunshine and we had a stop off at Pentland plants on the way to take a look at what's currently available.
We enjoyed a delicious scone and coffee at the farm, said hi to Nadine from Pentland Aromatics and looked at the (small number) of other stalls before taking a rather windy walk around Quercus plants nursery - beautifully laid out but we. will need to come back a bit later in spring to see more colour.
We decided to go to Portobello to get some exercise and fresh air as it's so lovely to have sunshine for a change. Surprisingly, although it was windy it wasnt as bad as yesterday and we could shelter a bit as the wind wasn't coming off the sea as we'd expected. The tide was very high - right up to the sea wall, which I don't think I've ever seen before, but at least close to the beach it wasn't very rough. At one point we spotted this Tardis and Dalek on one of the groynes (I had to clamber out on the groyne above the water to take this!)....very strange!
We picked up some things for a roast dinner then came home and did the cooking, I did ironing and we watched The Assembly with Michael Sheen which was interesting - he came across as very warm and engaging.
We tried to start watching Ripley on Netflix but didn't find that as engaging so gave up on it.
After dinner we relaxed a bit and waited for A to come back from Bristol - hope her plane isn't too disrupted by the wind.
