New Obsession

We saw people playing this on a TV programme and thought we should try and learn how to play. It has now become a regular evening entertainment, four or five games each night. It is good mental exercise and an excuse for a second glass of red wine.
As we have learned it from YouTube videos and Google we might not have got all the refinement but its still a good game.
We showed our weekend visitors and several of them seemed to be hooked, especially 12 year old grandson who was very enthusiastic. The enthusiasm increased dramatically when he beat me, twice.
One unexpected benefit of Backgammon is, on days where I have given no thought to taking a Blip, the very photogenic box.
