Elcho in the sunshine!

Honorary grandson arrived early for his sleep over, just after 0900
Heard all about is family holiday over on the west coast, we drove over to 16thc Elcho Castle which has reopened after being closed for 4 years,
It’s an area I’ve known since childhood, my Dad & his brothers were brought up here at the nearby farm, situated on the south banks of the Mighty River Tay, it’s a good one to explore inside, lots of stairs, nooks & crannies!
The o blossom of apple trees in the orchard is blossoming & lots of wee lambs in the fields nearby, always a good sign of spring, lambs are born much later up here than down south ( most of spring happens later up here!)
Pizza for dinner for the boy !
Scrabble after dinner, he beat me ……..he was so delighted ! Although some of his words a bit suspect!!
