Unbelievable..

The last night of our surprise 50th birthday of our baby in Vancouver ended  with a bang...

After a delightful pub supper in the downtown area..we then walked to the  Orpheum Theatre ( built in 1912) to a packed house to watch the Vancouver Symphony . The guest artist was pianist Fasil Say. This was by far the most lovely and entertaining event with a full orchestra and a pianist that we have ever heard..( www.vancouversymphony.ca/artist/fazil say ) The audience jumped to their feet with thunderous applause after his performance..and also his encore.

Extra..a walk around English Bay and the famous Seawall...which was outside our hotel..the Sylvia ..built also around 1920ish..

Just got home last tonight..safe and sound..a trip of a lifetime..in one weekend..
Extra..final shot at the home of our youngest...:-)
