Bougainvillea

This is the latest addition to the Butterfly House - apparently it’s a bougainvillea and will hopefully climb up and over the ropes. I’m not convinced it is hugely beneficial to butterflies, but I guess we will see. 

We spent a really good three hours in the glasshouse today, cleaning, tidying and reorganising things ready for the season which we are hoping will start at the end of next month. There still seems to be an awful lot to do, especially clearing out masses of ‘junk’ which seems to have accumulated all by itself over the past 12 months! A few visits to the recycling centre or charity shops will be needed. 

Had a lovely meal at Mum’s this evening and have started planning where I will go when we visit Anglesey in a couple of weeks.
