Between fen and mountains

Farewell

Today we said goodbye to the ringers from York. They have had a good weekend and done lots of ringing including one peal, six quarter peals and a special composition. As they pay by the rope for their attempts, it is useful revenue for the bell ringing Association and the church. I played a mixed doubles tennis match in the morning and then went on to the art group. There were just four of us, but it was a pleasant, relaxing afternoon.
