Eider Ducks

An early start this morning as I was driving through to Elie to have coffee with Sandra (I call her my beach friend).
We met a number of years ago when walking on Elie beach in the early morning. She lives in Aberdeen with her family and whenever she is holidaying in Elie she WhatsApps me and we meet up for a coffee. Our holidays didn't coincide this Easter so I travelled east this morning.

The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed our coffee and catch-up sitting outside the Sports Pavillion.

A quick trip along to Pittenweem hoping to see some Eider Ducks. The sea conditions were much improved from yesterday and the Ducks were enjoying their paddle from one group of rocks to another.
