Eerie

Does anyone else remember the solar eclipse of 1999? I was on a boat in the Irish sea, and was actually off watch and asleep when it happened. My fellow crew woke me up, it was a pretty amazing thing to see and very eerie, especially with no other light pollution. The US seem to be reacting as expected, mass hysteria and a party.

Otherwise it's been a fairly normal Monday. Sorting out the final things for Thursday and then Himself are heading north for the weekend in Friday so making sure that's all sorted too.
