Packed up our room, had breakfast and packed the car. I had to get some things for mother from the barn. We had a bit of a disaster bagging some sugar and flour in bottomless bags. Filled the car up with gubs and drove to the moors for a quick but very steep walk up to Haytor. Then a quick mill around Widecombe and a cream tea before setting off back to Reading.

We made it back in good time even though I went the wrong way. We had a pit stop a Rogs, Dropped Emma at the station and headed home. Made myself an epic omelette, watched the Apprentice and then Elaine came round for the evening. Lush.
