We managed to see a partial eclipse this afternoon. The predicted cloudiness arrived, but was only partly successful in blocking the sun at the critical moment. Seeing a total eclipse would be amazing, I'm sure, but we simply couldn't imagine gathering up enough oomph to travel far enough for that. Hey ho. I think what we saw was something like 85%.
