Sitting Pretty

I was driving down the main road into Lakeland when I happened to look up and saw this eagle just sitting on this pole.  So blinker on, I pulled off to the side of the road almost into a ditch and snapped this with my phone.  Of course, I didn't have my camera with me - but not disappointed.  It turned out pretty good.

Here in Florida we only saw a partial eclipse.  I did get a picture but it stinks, (it's in extras too) it just looks like a crescent moon, but I could see it for real with my cool paper eclipse glasses - LOL!!
