Rained off

I walked to Runton this morning in search of a Common Wheatear that I had heard was there. This bird is 14cm in length and I had a few paddocks to choose from. I did find it and have put it in extras for my record if you are interested. 

The weather was awful with wind and rain - I was so cold after standing that P kindly came to my rescue in the car! 

Then, to dry off and warm up I have been watching the Camversation talk by Doug Chinnery which is about abstract photography - hence the slightly abstracted meadow pipit in my main. I like the way that the bird's natural colour supersedes the barbed wire on this very elegant post which was a different photo all together!
