Driving

Leaving from Franschhoek to get a few hours under our belt we headed to Mossel Bay stopping off for a pizza at a local cafe on the way. This is a quick iPhone shot as we climbed higher on the drive.

It was an easy drive and we've checked in and will drive into town to eat later on. Mossel Bay is on a peninsula at a confluence between the warm Indian Ocean  and the Outeniqua mountains "creating a shallow bay where whales, dolphins, sharks and seals frolic." apparently. Looking out from on the balcony there was definitely something large and black surfacing from time to time in the harbour but it was difficult to see what exactly it was from the distance.

'Don't walk around at night' was the advice so we won't.
