Monday, the day we hoped that Nick would be discharged from hospital, but it was not to be. Those who know best decided that because of the distance we would have to travel home, it would be better for Nick to remain another day and we were both inclined to agree with them. Being nearly well enough to be discharged, Nick was in good form and he challenged me to identify something unusual in this view from his window. Eventually, I too spotted the ship amongst the city buildings. We were in agreement that it was probably in dry dock beside the River Clyde which flows out of sight within this zoomed shot.
