Nature Diary..Sunshine or Rain?

The scene at 6.50 this morning.
Would today be a day of sunshine or of rain?
Within an hour we had the answer as the sky became grey and the rain began to fall.
The sky remained grey all day and the rain gently fell again... all day.
No chance the lawn will have been able to become less of a bog today...
