Swathes …

… of daffodils in front of the Kibble Palace, Glasgow Botanic Gardens. I had my usual pre - A Play, A Pie and A Pint walk round the Botanic Gardens, and, as is often the case this year, it was raining. The daffodils were nevertheless putting on a cheerful show.
The show at Oran Mor was also very cheerful.
This week’s play is “Ness”, written by Hannah McGregor.

From the website : ‘“Featuring an iconic drag queen Nessie, Ness is a new queer Scottish comedy exploring the tradition of monsters, identity, and how we tell our own stories”.

It was a great show, full of laughs, especially from the pantomime-esque Nessie played by Craig Hunter” along with poignant moments from Afton Moran as Em. My quickly taken extra is of the actors leaving the stage at the end of the show.
