First thing

Another shot of the clematis.. it is so early this year.. and the cool weather will help it last a little longer I think.  However we need a little warmth to benefit from it's wonderful fragrance.. and to have the bees enjoy it.. as you can see there are no bees!  I bought some thalictrum Black Stockings for the garden and also a white frilly leucanthemum superbum sante and they appeared today so I have popped them in and confess to feeling rather excited to see how they do.  
Grey, cold and uninspiring as days go. Cat has spent most of the day curled up inside.  Youngest arrives home later today.. looking forward to hearing all her news .
