One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism

No photos taken yesterday (I didn't even check the Wide Wednesday theme) so thought I'd back Blip our final day of our Easter break in Chichester.

After a great welcome at the door by a volunteer, the first thing I photographed was the font. It looks very arts & crafts, but was made in 1983 by John Skelton. It's made of beaten copper. he letters you can see around the edge of the bowl are part of the text that Skelton hand-carved into the stone. It reads “One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism”, which comes from Ephesians 4:5.
