Scrabo Tower

Today's walk was short, but the purpose was to get the heart pumping!  It's a steep climb up to Scrabo Tower but the view from the top is not bad.  My extra image shows the view looking over Newtownards with the airfield in the middle ground, which is still in use daily.  Pity it was a dull grey day, but at least it was dry!

Scrabo Tower is a folly, build around 1857 by the 3rd Marquess of Londonderry.
