A wander around the harbour while Jess was in for an eye test. 
This ship is called La Malouine,  she normally resides in Scotland but has been in Whitehaven for a some weeks. I spoke to a member of the crew, It was actually built in the 1950s , (Poland according to tinterweb) The boat was used by the Russians according to the crew member. Converted to a Brigantine by a Dutchman and then sold to a French fellow.
It gets around a bit..
The current owner is Scottish
