Lurking in the Undergrowth

After lunch I walked to the Mall, part-way with Mrs K and Millie pups before they went off to school to help daughter Danielle with her class preparation for next week's post-holiday return.

I was looking for some new walking shoes but none of the four pairs I tried on ticked all the boxes. I caught the bus back; can't remember the last time I'd been on one, must've been years.

Bowls club men's section meeting this evening. We had scheduled some practice but the green doesn't open until tomorrow after a delay due to the recent prolonged wet spells.
