Bouquet

Woke to a beautiful sunny day and I was so glad I was able to get my bedding out to dry before going to Keep Fit. 

 A good session, but the bad news is that the centre where we meet is closing next month,; the Council has been closing many of our community centres due to they say lack of cash, and it is affecting all our leisure activities.  Anne who runs the Keep Fit class is retiring, and so we are losing an excellent facility in our town.

After Keep Fit I took the bus to the town centre to meet up with Maeve, and we had lunch and chat.  We always have so much to say.

Bob has had a painful foot for some days and today I persuaded him to do something about it.  It is hard to get a face to face appointment at our doctors' surgery, so he went to the local pharmacist and showed his foot to her.  She advised him to contact the surgery and use her name to get a face to face appointment...... and it worked.  So he now has some antibiotics and dressings, and it is being looked after, and feels better already.  

The flowers are the bouquet that we were given on Sunday from the church.
