Skunk cabbage

They are back. I’ve no doubt that I will have blipped these before. They are lurking in the wettest of wet part of the glen below our house. They have probably initially just spilled over from someone’s garden and have now gradually worked their way through a boggy area along a stream. They look quite spectacular but are quite smelly!
But we had wandered down there to collect wild garlic leaves for pesto for dinner, and also checked out the landslide whilst down below it. Quite a scene - it took a few trees along the way.
