you wouldn’t think much - of this on any - given day but that would - probably just be because - you don’t know about it - at first glance - i hadn’t a clue about - them either and actually - thought they were some - kind of plate - come to find out - it is a tea tile - used back in the day - as a sort of trivet - for teapots to protect - a table during tea service

there are a variety - of tiles to be found - from the very simple and plain - to the very elaborate which were saved - more for high tea - i have several types in - my collection and this particular - one is mid range - hand painted and dates - to around 1900 - it is from austria - the main reason i really - liked it is because - of the flowers and of course - it’s pink and pink - is a favorite color - which always leads to…
