Rain rain rain

Great for the garden and much needed. This tibouchina is lapping it up, though I had to crouch to capture the flowers as they are so weighed down.
I ventured into the city today to do some errands and then go to photo group, but got so wet my shopping fell out of the paper bag they gave me, and I decided just to go home, dishevelled. 
Ruby came to start her sewing, (extra) which she is doing very carefully. How lovely to have this time with her.  Sitting with her I am reminded strongly of my daughter (her aunt). Aren't family relationships curious?
