A dramatic walk

We walked through Milner Field down to the river. It was flowing very fast over the weir. We spotted what we thought at first was a coat laid on some branches overhanging the very fast water on second look we found out that it was actually a person in a very dangerous position. Not quite sure what to do but didn’t want to leave him there so B dialled 999 and reported him to the ambulance service. After sometime and whilst these conversations were still going on the chap decided to leave his precarious perch and walk off down the river bank when Yorkshirebred asked him if he was okay he told her to **** off so we assumed that he was okay. We were glad to head off in the opposite direction and find a coffee! The rest of the walk continued without further incident apart from us getting extremely wet
