A day was not long enough.

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel we leave Lincoln for the moment.

We pick up the car and start our homeward journey detouring at the picturesque village of Woodhall Spa, the sun was shining and the little street cafes and beer gardens were bustling.

After a walk and some light refreshments we carry on with our journey home, stopping once again to take in a view of the Humber bridge. On our way again and all was going well until we reached the outskirts of Beverly where the traffic grounded to a halt. We could see the hold up in the distance, a lorry carrying a wind turbine blade was manoeuvring around the roundabout, about an hour later and two more roundabouts we finally get on our way.

We had a really pleasant time away
